When choosing the right covering for your bay window, you will come across a lot of different treatments. Most bay window treatments involve covering the whole thing up with large and dark curtains and fabrics, but there is a better way to make your bay window a part of the room.

By doing almost nothing to the area, your bay window will join into the room rather than be cut off from it. Bay windows either exist because they were specially built for your home, or the home you have is quire old. In either case, the frames of the window will be quite unique and beautiful, and anything done to cover it up will cut off a large and lovely part of your home. To get the most out of your bay window, fit a nice thin fabric over the top like you would a curtain. This way the fabric can be pulled aside when you want to look outside, but it won’t hamper the sunlight or the frames when it’s hanging.
